Entry three
I can’t remember how long it’s been since my last entry. They’ve shoved me in an extremely small and cramped cell with no windows. This is really the sadest place I have ever been; there is nothing to do to pass the time. I fear I might go mad. There is a small glimmer of hope in the future however; they say they are taking the few remaining prisioners to a different jail (or maybe just me) I hope to take advantage of this move and escape then. I have had almost no contact with the other side of my jail door other than the two cold and tastless meals pushed through the slot in my door every day.

Entry two
I have been here for about two months now and the living conditions are just getting worse. There are no longer new children coming every week, it's more like once every two or three weeks now. The guards have also started to execute the children who are back-talking and rallying our moral. I am starting to fear for my life; the number of prisoners are getting smaller and smaller as the escape attempts keep failing, leaving the rest of us more visible and vulnerable. Some children are getting desperate and doing foolish things like rushing the gates, they just end up getting shot. There was once quite a few prisoners now there is less than thirty. We are all scared for our lives. What has happened to my life? What has happend to this world?

Entry one
I have just been taken from my residence in rural America and brought out to a countryside prison where there are about sixty other kids my age. We all seem to share similar traits, like our exceptional eyesight, hearing and physical strength. I miss my parents a bit, but to be honest it’s a nice change to be surrounded by other people who are as smart as me. Not too much goes on in this dismal place. We spend our time planning our escape, and pass the time outwitting the guards and exercising our brains with simple games. I have made quite a few acquaintances among the other prisoners. We all seem to get along very well; our only real enemies are the guards who are a fragment smarter or crueler than the majority of the guards. About every week two more children are brought from the outside; they are our age or younger. About once every couple of weeks one child tries to escape but so far everyone has failed. The children that try and escape are usually killed in the process. As sad as this is, I suppose it is a learning experience for the rest of us. These failed escapes help us to develop new and better escape strategies. None of us knows why we were brought here, but we are all eager to get out.
